First let me show you what my scrap room looked like last week...
Lovely, huh? I am in the process of re-organizing...getting rid of all the plastic bins and finally putting my Store-in-Style furniture to good use. I am waiting on more cubes to come in so I can finish. (I ordered 4 shy of what mom & I needed so I gave her 2 of mine so she would have all she needed.) Thanks Mom & Ryan for putting all of it together! For those of you that don't know. The target cubes are not the same size. I now have a six piece set against the wall which I really think I'm going to enjoy.
The picture above was taken from the foyer door into the library. The door on the far wall in the picture leads into my bedroom. We we moved in our house the library was the only finished room. It housed all my books in floor to ceiling built in bookshelves, my childhood piano, a computer desk I had built for Shelly :), and a work table for projects. As my supplies have grown I've had to move out the piano among other things. I have a feeling this room will be my most favorite when I'm finished!
I've been neglecting my own scrapbooking in favor of projects for others. Last night I designed Christmas card samples and put up a few stacks of supplies in their new home. Right now it's all I can do not to open the Cricut I ordered for mom. I want to try it out so bad! She's so like me and I'm sure it would take away from the whole experience if I opened it all first. * for those of you looking for gift ideas...talk to me about font cartridges. I know mom will want all of them :) *
Hopefully by the end of this week or first of next week I will have finished pictures of my scrap room. My hope is that you will have to open drawers to see all the supplies. I want a un-cluttered, clean look even though I will probably forget that I have stuff I can't see!
I had high hopes for this post....sort of a "life as I know it" update on all aspects....oh well. Next time I'll have to write all those ideas down!
