I think I'm right that the bad boys in this pond are in fact the males. They didn't care that we were watching them. I think they were more interested in the turtle eggs that were dumped by the thousands after we moved on.

She was NOT happy about us being there. Sam freaked when she slammed into the gate. The guide said she was protecting her eggs.
See the turtles? The turtle pond was the 1st stop on our tour. I can't remember all the specifics. THOUSANDS of turtle eggs are laid each day. Every morning the workers pick up the eggs. Good ones are kept and the duds are fed to the alligators. See if you can spot the egg that wasn't picked up by the workers. Well, I'm tired. More tomorrow.
