the Last prom
for Ryan and Ha
If it had been up to Ryan, Haleigh's prom would have been the final one for him. I don't know why it was so important to me for him to attend prom at his school but it was/is and I'm so glad Ryan didn't fight me on it too much.
They just left Cotton Branch in the "cowboy limo" otherwise known as Ryan's truck, the dually...
He even had it detailed...almost like he was EXCITED about going to prom. ha ha ha
The other couple pictured with them are Kim (she goes to FC w/ Ryan) and Cody (he goes to ASC w/ Haleigh).
They are @ Dixie Springs eating supper right now. I'm sure they will be stuffed and enjoy it...although, I'm visualizing the menu and I'm not sure there's anything on it that Ha will eat! Remember those days?
Both couples "tolerated" pictures @ Nana's really well except for Ryan... he thought all the pics that were taken a couple of weeks ago for ASC's prom were "enough already!"
Can you tell how much he loves his Nana? She loves him wide as the sky and deep as the ocean, too.
I'm not going to elaborate on how I'm feeling right now... Oh how I wish I could turn back time and start over w/ my oldest boy! We have grown up together and I've learned through my mistakes w/ him.
So glad these 2 had on short dresses and could pose in the fountain!
I'll let Nana tell you about the tie fiasco. Let's just say Papa is out of town and when I arrived @ CB, Nana was on the internet looking for instructions on how to tie a tie! Thank the Lord for wonderful friends!
If you are reading this before Friday morning, please pray that all our children make it home safely tonight/tomorrow and that they have a wonderful time and make great memories.
(Jeanne, I'll let you pick pictures of you and Ha to blog with because I know how I'd feel about it! Thank you for loving my boy & being a part of the village raising him. You mean the world to us!)
